Unitel LLC entered the Mongolian market in 2006 as a mobile network operator, bringing a fresh, distinctive approach. Today, it has evolved into a nationwide group company shaping Mongolia’s digital ecosystem.

Since its inception, Unitel has consistently driven technological advancement and innovation across the telecommunications and information technology sectors. Within just two years of launching, the company had expanded its network to every province and more than 330 sums across Mongolia. In 2016, Unitel pioneered 4G LTE in Mongolia.

Building on this legacy of innovation, Unitel launched its first 5G base station in 2022, marking the beginning of a new era of next generation connectivity. Unitel pioneered the deployment of AUTIN, an intelligent system that strengthens network reliability, becoming the first in Central Asia to adopt this advanced technology.
